I have a new hobby I think.. recently I got a new sewing machine. Well new to me, as it was my mother’s for years.

She got a new one and I traded my first Toyota Jeans machine for her Husqvarna. So many stitches and more options, this could be fun! I have also treated myself to a serger or overlock machine and made the first two t shirts and 2 shorts for my daughter.

I will try to share my experiences and patterns I have used here.

So far I have made 2 Pippa Shorts for my daughter and 2 Odette T shirts for myself. The 3d and 4th are almost done.

But.. I also still love to crochet. My current almost done project is the Indiana Afghan by Tinna, from Iceland. Her Mosaic Patterns are so fun and easy to follow. I just need to do 40 more rows And the twisted fringes , that sounds like fun to me.

The afghan is not tilted, but the picture is 😊
